About Me

David Tolls: It was while attending the San Francisco Art academy that David realized his true calling - hair and make up. After years of working as an artist for Nars, Channel, and Dior, this Marin county native knew he needed a cosmetology license if he wanted to do styling for photo shoots. Soon after graduating he went to work at Cowboys and Angels salon. David always knew he wanted to combine his love for make up with his keen eye for hair styling, and print work seemed to be the logical way to go. As a sought after session stylist David brings his unique flair for dream like hair with soft dewy make up. His work can be seen in such magazines as 7x7, San Francisco magazine, Nylon, Rolling Stone, Teen Vouge, Oyster and Genlux. David has been voted best San Francisco hairdresser by Allure Magazine. When he's not on location with WORKGROUP, he works out of BARROW http://barrowsalon.com, cutting and styling hair.
